This simple concrete slab bridge crosses a former millrace channel in Tama.
Now abandoned, the bridge was constructed in 1913 during a double tracking project. This span does carry pedestrians currently, as a way to access Deer Creek and the Tama Rail Bridge.
However, the city has not officially converted this structure to pedestrian use.
In an overall fair condition, the bridge likely is owned by the city of Tama.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common and simple design.
